Exercise is a must for any person and especially for diabetics it is more imporatant.

make sure that you test your blood glucose levels after and before exercise as well.
stop doing exercises if your blood glucose is more than 240 and if the ketones or ketone bodies in the urine.
But If your blood glucose is more than 240 and absence of ketones , then you must these things:
- Type I: Never exercise if blood glucose levels are 300 or more
- Type II: Never exercise if blood glucose levels are 400 or more
You must plan exercise to avoid low blood sugar reactions and the following tips will be handy for you in solving your problems.
- Make sure that you Exercise one – one and half hours after eating
- Check blood glucose before and after exercise and follow snack guidelines
- You must always carry a snack (carbohydrate) along with you ( juice, Glucose tablets etc.)
- Drink plenty of water and take more fluids.
- Wear comfortable fitting shoes.
