Over all good information, however you might want to make a change regarding your recommendation for diabetics to wear cotton socks. Those with Diabetic Foot or neuropathy (insensitive foot) shouldn't wear plain cotton socks. Most podiatrist will recommmend that they instead wear support socks. The reason is a simple one: When the feet perspire, friction between the sock and shoe occurs promoting and causing blisters. Cotton does not wick moisture from the skin, but instead holds it next to the skin. Therefore the better choice for a diabetic (and even athletes) would be socks that are made of synthetic fabric, such as nylon and polyester, or at the very least a blend of natural and synthetic), both of which will help to draw the moisture away and evaporate into the shoe.
